Product Focus: Which Titebond Wood Glue should you use?

Titebond is undeniably the world-leading manufacturer of wood glue.

BST Group stocks Titebond’s 3 major products: Titebond Original Wood Glue (Red), Titebond II Premium Wood Glue (Blue) and the heavy-hitter of the family - Titebond III Ultimate Wood Glue (Green).

In a nutshell, the Original is their standard range and will work with a large range of indoor projects. Titebond II is water resistant, so is suitable for those projects which may get damp from time to time. Unquestionably, Titebond III is significantly the heavy worker of the group, it can be used for most applications and is water proof so suitable for outside projects.

Titebond Original Wood Glue

It also develops a bond stronger than the wood itself, offers brilliant sandability and is unaffected by finishes.

Titebond Original is ideal for wood, hardboards, particleboard, MDF, plywood, leather, cloth and most other porous materials, as well as edge and face gluing of hardwoods and softwoods. In fact, it is the preferred wood glue of musical instrument makers around the world.
