The HD45 Hammer Drill from Stanley Hydraulic Tools is a heavy-duty model suitable for medium to heavy applications. It is perfect for drilling utility holes for gas and water and setting anchor bolts. The drill can bore holes ranging from 3/4 inch (19 mm) to 2 inches (50 mm) in diameter and up to 29 inches (73.7 cm) deep, and it can also perform core drilling up to 4 inches (102 mm) in diameter. The tool uses standard Skil 736 type carbide-tipped fluted drill bits and requires no fluid to clear holes while in operation. The HD45 features a feathering on/off valve and an adjustable bit rotation speed, both forward and reverse, which make it easy to start and control. Additionally, underwater models are available.
